PC Connection, a leading provider of information technology solutions to small and medium sized businesses nationwide, seeks to hire a Training Specialist. This is an excellent career opportunity position for a qualified training professional at a Fortune 1000 New Hampshire based corporation. PC Connection prides itself in the caliber and expertise of its training staff and the programs they present. In this highly visible role, you will be focused on providing professional face to face and virtual training to employees in the areas of systems, procedures, business development and technical learning for employees across multiple business units. Responsibilities also include 1-1 and group refresher training based on determined support needs.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Administering classroom knowledge and skill proficiency tests.
- Evaluation of the trainees' ability to apply the knowledge and/or skills learned.
- Provide ongoing feedback on course materials and maintain leader guides and participant materials.
- Partner with the training team and business owners to create face to face and virtual training sessions.
- Maintaining strong working knowledge on the practices associated with standard adult learning concepts and instructor excellence, as well as industry and company trends.
Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle and be able to travel regularly to our NH/MA locations as needed. Travel to out of state locations is required at times in this assignment. These travel requirements are an integral part of the job which candidates must be able to perform.
Required Skills:
- Strong classroom presentation and facilitation skills
- Ability to effectively lead training virtually via multiple platforms
- Ability to quickly learn PC Connection internal systems and new technologies as they are developed
- Strong working knowledge of adult learning concepts
- Knowledge of solution selling concepts is desired
- Experience in all elements of instructional design desired
- Knowledge of the IT industry and how technology supports the business environment
Required Experience:
College degree or equivalent work experience required. 3-5 years instructor led and/or synchronous online training experience with adult learners preferred. Experience in a fast paced sales environment preferred, ideally within the IT industry.
